Sketchling Blog

Y'ello, I'm Julie! I go by other names as well, but feel free to call me what you wish.

This blog is primarily for my art, however I may share some music I like, photography, historical things, art that isn't my own, or things I find funny.

I use a few mediums when it comes to art. I mostly use watercolor, acrylic, ink, pencil, marker, and digital. I plan on expanding these in the future, though!

In the first grade, my teacher did a whole unit on butterflies.  My teacher bought a “popup screen habitat” so we could watch caterpillars grow into butterflies.  When the butterflies were all grown up, we released them.
When we released them outside, three of them flew out and were immediately eaten by birds.  Some of the kids started bawling.  I swear I heard my teacher start humming “The Circle of life”.
